E the bride.
Those of you who were at the rehearsal dinner or have hung out with the Boyd's know that ELizabeth has a nick name...E. So I think I am going to start using it on the blog and save myself a couple extra key strokes. Below you will see a picture I snagged form the Cook's. It is my favorite!! They posted about her bridal shoot. I will let you know if they post more on the wedding. If you want to see more bridal shoot pictures...and I promise you do, then go to http://www.cookimages.com/.

JERSEY SHORE RILEY
What happens when Jersey Shore meets Curious George...
I think he looks hilarious and I may try to gel his hair up this weekend to match, I am just not sure he has enough hair. When you ask him where George is he does this:
Riley would like to thank his Etta for feeding his Curious George addicition, the way she feeds my scarf addiction. Sadly I think Riley is becoming less attached to George these days and more attached to:

Wedding
First, here is the graphic we used for the Save the Date, and the gift bags, and inspiration:

Putting it into a postable format changed the graphic, normally it does not look so uneven.
Second, I will share some tweets I snagged from Jeremy and Hara. For those of you who do not know Jeremy and Hara personally...you should. They are two of the sweetest people I know and on top of being all around fantastic, they take fantastic pictures. I have blogged about them before here, and you can see their blog/tweets/pics/website here, and if you click here you can see the pics they took of my sis-in-law Mary at her wedding.
TWEETS:
This is a picture of Jeremy taking a picture of me taking a picture of him! We are cool like that.
And because this blog is really for ya'll to view pictures of my precious angel, here he is. As you can tell he is miserable! Had the worst time!
He ran around behind the coutnry club for about an hour and was thrilled. He got some great pics with his Aunt Izzy and Uncle Bear. And truly did enjoy himself unlike the night they got engaged, which is still on record as the worst night ever for Riley.
Sorry this is scattered and random, and I do not have a picture of the groom...I promise there is more to come!

I am being sucked in...
I placed an order on Amazon and you know how at the bottom of the screen Amazon will post, "Other shoppers who bought this book bought these items too.." (or something like that), well it got me! I now have quite the extensive library on food. Now those of you who know me well are saying, "Allison you are kind of obsessed with cookbooks, so you weren't short on food books before." But now I have a library that is looking at food in a far less romantic way and a much more scientific way.
Now, could I stop there...No! Below are the other books that made it into my shopping cart:

This last one is FANTASTIC!! The author is a food critic from Seattle and he is hilarious. I have enjoyed every minute of his book and I think I am going to try one of his stew recipes very soon. His book is based on his own adventures trying to introduce all different types of flavors to his daughter at a young age. He basically makes the point that you do not have to feed your child bland mush, they can eat what you eat. He is very realistic and reading his book along with the others may keep me from getting to extreme with my food safety concerns...as if as a Mom I do not have enough to worry about!
I think I will give credit to my new found obsession to Sarah Kathryn Sherrill and Anne Brewer. The two of you gave me two different baby food cookbooks, this led to me making my own baby food, which you can read about here. Well that led me to have an interest in when I should by organic food and when I should by local or when it didn't matter. Well for those of you who are curious, organic is not always better, sometimes it is just more expensive. And if it was grown organically in Chile, chances are you better off with something grown locally. And did you know that your blueberries do not need to be organic, but your strawberries should be. Anyway that is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to reading up on this stuff, so I went on the hunt for a book that could be my "go to" whenever I had a question. After several different attempts to find a book I finally found this one:

I swear I won't buy any more books, but Holland has told me to rent the documentary, "Food Inc.", and from her review I get the distinct impression that it will only encourage this behavior. I would ask you all if you think I am going overboard, but I already know the answer!

Wrong Link
I just emailed my friend Rachel the link to the blog and I spelled it like this:
CLick on it and see what you get! Not cute little Riley staring back at you, that is for sure!
