Above is Velma, and isn't she sooo cute! She loves Christmas lights.
So when I was home a couple of weeks ago my parents sat me down and tolfd me that the cats were moving to Pensacola when the baby was born. Daddy is obviously getting the bad end of this deal. Momma will be in Montgomery with me and the baby, and Daddy will take the cats home with him. Then they informed me that upon the cats return to Montgomery it will be as outdoor cats. They are no longer going to be spreading their fur balls all over the house. They say it is because they don't want the baby around so many allergens, considering our house is already allergen prone being built in 1929, but I think it is because Momma hates seeing their furballs in the corner. Anyway, I think it is a good idea to get the litter box out of our house, I know Michael won't miss it. So I am not disagreeing with the crowd. But I will miss having Roxy (aka Darkness) and Velma around as much.

And this is Roxy, or as Michael calls her...Darkness. And as you can see she thinks she belongs in the bassinet with all the stuffed animals in the nursery! This is exactly why my parents want them out of the house. And of course neither of the cats had jumped in the crib, until I said that out loud! Then last night Roxy went for it. Ha!

I love these posts. They made my day.
Looking at Velma amongst the lights reminds me of being at your Oaks apartment lying on the couch...the tree tied to the TV cabinet...the crazy cats making laps and grabbing my ponytail...all while watching "Chrismukka." (our O.C. obsession days)
Oooh the memories. :)
