So I got an email today from Jamie Olivers website…because I signed the petition and the email suggested that I forward the message to others so they could sign the petition. If ya’ll are receiving this message then you have probably heard me rant and rave about the “snacks” (if you can call them that) they are feeding Riley at daycare. If you are one of the few who has not heard me rant (consider yourself lucky) but so you get an idea here are just a few of the items that aggravate me: pop tarts, trix, kool-aid, fried foods, ritz crackers. I know my child will eventually want these things but while he is young and I have complete control I would like to feed him “real” food. Anyway, I would really appreciate it if you would go and sign the petition…if it makes a difference it is worth the couple of minutes it takes to sign. Below is the link and the blurb from the email from Food Revolution. And please pass this on if you think it is a worthy cause!
“I have joined the Food Revolution and you should too! We need your help to change the way America eats. Every child in America has the right to fresh, nutritious school meals, and every family deserves real, honest, wholesome food. Sign the petition to save America's cooking skills and improve school food. http://bit.ly/JOfoodrev Thanks and please pass this message on.”

I'm with you Allison! I say the same thing, as long as I have control, I want to be in control! I love what Jamie Oliver is doing. It's so inspiring!
